Silly Girls

Something exciting happened at our house today! Natalie can write the letter "N"! She is amazing!!

Julia is our little daredevil. She is always climbing on things and yesterday she found something that she is crazy about. Natalie's doll wagon.

After she figured out that she can climb in it, she realized that if she leaned back she could lift the wheels off the ground and that my friends is a super cool thing in a 14 months old world!

I got the girls this new sprinkler the other night and they are crazy about it! You put balls in the circular part and they shoot out the top. Joe and Chloe are in the background checking it out.

Julia thought Natalie needed some more sunscreen.

This is Julia taking off after getting hit with one of the water sprays.

She decided that sitting on the steps and playing with rocks was a lot more fun.

The girls with the sprinkler.

Emily decided that she wanted to join in the fun too. Julia would clap for Natalie every time that she got a ball to shoot out. It was too funny.

Here is Julia giving Natalie a ball. She was a big helper.

And once again Julia is out of there.

I am not sure what the girls are doing here, but they are super cute!

Sunday

Saturday night was a little long at our house. There was a huge storm that kept waking up both girls. So, there wasn't a lot of sleep going on. Needless to say, we are all a little tired!

After dinner we took the girls outside and Julia took her first ride in Natalie's car. She loved it! I rode along to be sure that Julia didn't decide to just bail out at some point.

We also set up the tunnels in the basement for the girls. I actually thought that Julia would like it a little more than she did. Hmmm, maybe it will grow on her.

Instead of the tunnels, the girls decided to take off towards the playroom. I love watching them run down the hall together!

Fun Filled Saturday

Today was a great day! First we had Desi come to the house to watch the girls while we helped my friend Jenny move into her beautiful new home! When we got home we ate dinner and then headed out to the pool. Julia had never been swimming so we were excited to see what she thought! I was cleaning out the swimming bag from last year and found these sunglasses. Babies + Sunglasses = cute!

And here is Ms. Julia in her swimming floatie for the first time! At first she wasn't so sure, but after a few minutes she thought it was pretty cool.

I am trying to keep Julia calm, while trying to contain Natalie's excitement!

Here is Julia swimming for the first time!

Natalie has been taking swimming lessons for a week now and she is pretty sure that she is a pro. I love that she really doesn't have a fear and wants to try! I think she will be going under all the way pretty soon!

And here is a little video of Natalie swimming.

After we swam in the big pool for a while we decided to give the baby pool a try. There was a storm rolling in so the temperature began to drop and poor Julia began to shiver! Her little teeth even began to chatter!

Here I am snuggling with my baby. She really wasn't unhappy, she was eating a cracker.

And here are my sweet little girls.

I just can't get enough photos of Julia eating chocolate sandwich cookies. This time she decided to smear them in the water that she dumped on the try from her sippie cup, which she still won't drink out of.

My Girls Make Me So Proud!!

This is Julia at the allergist yesterday. I still can't believe that she didn't cry when they took her blood.

Natalie had a check up with the dentist today and she was such a trooper!! She just let them do what they needed to do and even did x-rays! Julia was a handful, but that is what I expected from her...:)

Ride 'em Cowgirl

Dad got Natalie this rocking horse for her 2nd Christmas and Julia has found out that she loves to rock in it!

We had a follow up appointment today with Julia's allergist. Her eczema was getting worse and the allergist thinks that it might be due to her being exposed to more soy products. So, we decided to take her off all soy, milk and peanuts. It will be an adventure for us! She also had to have blood taken and didn't even cry. I even asked the lady taking her blood to get someone to help her because I knew that she would fight it. They always make liars out of us!!

Big Sis and Little Sis

It was another hot one today, 102 to be exact. Yep, we were in the pool again and yep, the girls still loved it.

Pa Pa James got the girls these great rocking chairs for Christmas. After baths tonight I put on their Big Sis and Little Sis Pj's and tried to get some photos. You know how that went.

And then of course here is Julia being naughty. She won't sit in her chair so I had to remove them from the room. That of course caused an all out fit from Julia which just made me laugh. Man that girl can throw a fit!!

And here she is trying to flirt with me to get me to not take the chair. She cracks me up.

Hello Summer!

Yep, it was a hot one today! So hot that we got the new pool out and took it for a test drive! It was Julia's first time in the water and she thought it was great! I thought she would be a little more timid, but I should have known better. We got it out at noon and the water was pretty cold, but we got in again after dinner and it had warmed up a little bit. She loved putting all the toys in and throwing all the toys out. Emily and Chloe were over too, it was a fun afternoon with friends!

Emily and Julia hanging out.

Julia walking around the deck.

Chloe checking it out.

The girls having fun in the pool!

Natalie and Julia having fun.

My sunbathing beauty!

My two sweet girls playing together in the pool.

Julia loving the pool.

Julia picking on Chloe. I think she wanted her to stand up and play with her.

Julia has also learned to really give a hug and she isn't shy when she is passing them out! Today she was all about hugging Chloe. Good thing Chloe didn't mind being hugged, I think this was hug number 3.

A Day in the Life!

Hmm...Julia found out that she likes chocolate sandwich cookies.

I got these PJ's for the girls before Julia was born. This is the first time that she wore hers.

Julia is our climber. We never had to worry about Natalie climbing this, but Julia will give anything a go!

And she is just so proud when she does...

On Memorial Day we had a cookout. Here are Don and Suzanne with the girls.

Yea!! I can finally pull Julia's hair up!!

Mom got the girls these new chairs and of course Julia had to climb in one.

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
