Finally Friday!

Yea! It is Friday! While Natalie was at Kids Day Inn, Julia took one of her normal, crazy naps.

Her afternoon nap wasn't much different. I just don't understand how she sleeps with her feet up like that!

After naps Carrie, Emily and Chloe came over. Carrie was checking out my I-Pad and had a very cute audience. Even Julia wanted in on the fun.

To wrap up the evening the girls had a nice bath to wind down!

Field Trip

Today Natalie's preschool class went on a field trip to the "other" zoo in our city. They have some great things that the big zoo doesn't. The weather was perfect and we set out to have a great day!

Natalie and Mommy

There was a part of the zoo where you could feed a lemurs. Natalie is usually pretty scared to do these kinds of things, so I was very proud of her for being so brave. The lemurs are very cute and they were super excited to see the kids.

Love this photo of the mommy kangaroo and her baby in the pocket.

Julia's first time in the mulch. She thought it was pretty cool.

After the zoo we went to McDonalds. I love this photo of the girls. Their expressions are great!

Its Easter! Happy Easter!!

Yea! The Easter Bunny came! The girls were so excited to check out what the Easter Bunny left in their baskets.

Natalie enjoyed finding her metallic eggs, which where filled with dairy and nut free chocolate.

Julia did great on her first egg hunt. She just enjoyed all the excitement and the little chocolate chips that were in her tie dyed eggs.

Natalie got some lip gloss that Julia really wanted to try out.

I couldn't believe how grown up Natalie looked in her dress. I had to take her outside to get some photos. She is growing into a beautiful little girl.

Here are Julia and Daddy watching us take the photos. Julia's shirt was ruined during breakfast.

Of course I tried to get a photo of the two of them, and of course it was impossible.

MiMi got Julia a huge book. She has the small version of it, so she was tickled with the huge book.

Natalie got a chicken that pooped bubble gum, we all thought it was pretty funny.

Here is little Miss in her Easter dress.

And again, here the two girls are together.

Julia and Mommy.

Here is the Easter table that I set.

And here we all are enjoying!! Suzanne made the ham and it was great!

I asked Jeff to get a photo of Julia in her First Easter shirt, thought this one was cute.

And here we are, winding down from a busy day with the new coloring book the girls got. Happy Easter everyone!

Taking More Steps

While it is hard for me to catch while I am at home alone, Julia is getting braver and taking more and more steps.

Glamour Girls

Abbie stopped by to drop off some Easter goodies. While she was here the girls decided to play dress up. Don't they look just adorable?

Getting Ready for Easter

This year we had Easter at our house. So, Saturday there was lots to do to get ready!

We started with dying our eggs. Jeff and MiMi did a great job while I got the cookies and cupcakes going. After dying the eggs with me at preschool, Natalie was a pro. Mom found these neat no-mess cups and they really worked well!

Of course MiMi had to buy some kind of contraption, but it did make pretty cool eggs.

After the eggs, the cookies and cupcakes were cool so they were ready to be decorated. Julia was also up from her nap.

After we got the cookies and cupcakes decorated it was time for Julia to dye her first egg. I don' think she was too sure at first.

But got the hang of it pretty quick.

Here are all the beautiful eggs we made!

It was an Itsy-Bitsy

I am pretty sure that there is nothing cuter than a baby in a swim suit, especially a bikini.

Egg Dying with Mom

Natalie's preschool had an Egg Dying with Mom party. I was surprised at how much Natalie had. Usually her attention span is so short that activities like this don't last long! I was surprised that we made it through a dozen eggs!

Here we are!

And of course there were goodies, Abbie and Natalie enjoying just a couple of them. It was great to get to spend some one-on-one time with Natalie!

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
