Summer Fun!

I asked the girls to go and read for a while only to find Julia looking thru one of her horse catalogues. Still in love with horses!

I was in charge of uniforms for Julia's YMCA summer soccer team. They are the pink cheetahs. These turned out pretty cute!

Julia got these hysterical googles in Florida.

She also came home from Florida and wanted to learn to snorkel. I think she will be a pro by next year!

The girls went to space camp and on the last day we met at the Cosmosphere. It was super fun!

Both girls tried out for competitive soccer teams this summer and both girls were asked to join a team! Natalie is now on the Golden Tigers and Julia is an Andover Jaguar.

The girls also took two weeks of swimming lessons. They even wore swim caps at one point. Too cute!

We met Carrie and the girls at Botanica for a craft. We made garden stepping stones.

We also went to see a production of Flat Stanley. Here we are with Emily and some of the cast.

We had a lot of fun on Father's Day. We had a cookout with family and friends!

We started it off with a few gifts for Jeff!

And at our cookout the dads enjoyed a performance by the kiddos!

The girls made these glass blocks for Jeff for Father's day from shells we found in Florida.

Jami, Collyer, Ava and Ella finally moved into their new house, which is super close to our! Yea! Here we are on moving day!

The girls had a very large cheering section at their soccer games one weekend.

Julia was having a hard time before the game so her coaches, who are wonderful, said they would pay her a dollar a half to play. We are pretty sure she is the only paid YMCA athlete.

One of the bigger things that has happened this summer is Natalie cutter her hair much shorter!

Julia completed her first AR tests. She was so excited!

We went to the drive-in to see Finding Dory and had a great time!

Julia has a cough that has really flared up her asthma. I needed to run some errands and she really didn't feel good and didn't want to get dressed or brush her hair. Whatever. This is how I took her out!

I made a cake to celebrate the girls both making a soccer team! Go girls!
