Swimming Babies!

So far this weekend has been really good! Jeff and I went to a dinner at the University last night and mom babysat Natalie. This morning we had our first Water Babies class at the YMCA! It was so much fun! Natalie did great and really seemed to enjoy the water. It was a special surprise to see Grammie there too!
This is a photo of my with crazy hair right before bed.

This is what I look like after Daddy and I go on a walk - it wears me out!

This is me eating my sweet potatoes. I really like them and Mommy even let me feed myself for a while!

This is me getting ready for Water Babies! Don't I look cute in my swimming suit?

This is me at Water Babies!! There are also a couple videos too.

When we got home from swimming we opened the new furniture that Natalie got for her playroom. It is a table and chairs....aren't they cute? I can just imagine all the messes she will make in these!!

Sleeping

So, last night we tried Natalie in her own room, in her own bed. She slept from 8-6. Without waking up once. I guess Jeff and I needed her near us more than she needed it. In fact I think we may have been waking her up. We will see how tonight goes. I told Mom that it is a sense of pride and a sense of sadness all at once. She told me to get used to it - they all grow up. :)

These are Natalie's 6th month photos. They were taken at school and I think they did a pretty good job! I love the one with her tongue out....that is our Natalie!

Pictures from the past week

This weekend has been super busy and Natalie still isn't sleeping great at night. I don't know what is going on with my little girl, but I hope it gets better soon! We were supposed to start Water Babies on Saturday, but the class was canceled because the pump at the pool was broken. So, instead on Saturday we spent most of the day at a non-profit event. It was the most Natalie had ever been outside and I think she really enjoyed it. She even napped in her stroller. She then went to Grandma's and then to a candle party. She has been a very busy little girl! Oh, she went shopping too! Here are some photos from the past week.

This is me and Grandpa Don. He was watching Natalie while Jeff and I did yard work. I think they had a pretty good time. He even got her to take a nap which is almost impossible these days. Go Grandpa Don!

This is me in an outfit that Grandpa Mike gave me. I have really grown into it and I think the hat is super cute on her. I also think that she looks great in pink!

And this is Natalie on Saturday in Mom's neighbors flower bed. I thought it would be so cute to get a photo of her in all the flowers since her dress had flowers all over it. Of course I couldn't get the little stinker to smile at the same time I was taking the photo. Oh well, they still turned out pretty good. She did topple over into a bush, but thank heavens it didn't have thorns!

And here I am with my famous tongue, in a really cute outfit. Jeff and I love her in this. It has a really cute matching sweater too. The pants are a pink velvet. Too cute.

Happy Half Birthday Natalie!

Happy Half Birthday My Little Booga Baby!!
Natalie is 6 months old today! I can't believe it. The time has gone so very fast and when I look at her I can't believe how much she has changed. She has made everything so very exciting for us. I took her to the doc yesterday and she is doing great. She weighed 15.6 pounds, which is in the 30th percentile and is 25 inches long, which is in the 25th percentile. He told me we could start her on all kinds of foods, so this weekend we are going to add in sweet potatoes. It should be fun.

Video of Natalie Sitting

My Big Girl

So, Natalie can officially sit up all on her own. I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast! I took her to daycare this morning and sat her on the play mat with three other kids. (She doesn't sit so well that I would walk away yet, but she doesn't bobble all that much anymore) She was playing with Joe and Evan. Joe is 2 days older than Natalie and I think Evan is 8 months. Anyway, I gave her a toy and then I gave Evan a toy. She dropped her toy and started grunting towards Evan. I don't think she wanted to share! It seemed like she wanted Evans toy. I couldn't believe it. She is so funny. The personality that she already has just cracks me up. They are also taking photos at school today, so I sent her with a dress that has a hat. It is so cute on her. I asked them to try and take her photo with her sitting and they said they would. I am excited to hear about how it goes. She is also eating apples and cereal like a champ! She loves the apples. She will be six months old on Friday and I can't believe it. Time has really flown. She has her doctors appointment tomorrow and has to get shots, I hate that, but it is fun to see how much she has grown.

Double Congrats!

My cousins Eric and Heather found out last week that they are expecting twins! They are due middle of November, but because there are 2, the docs think they could be here as early as the beginning of November. Heather is feeling great! We are all so excited for them and all of us are hoping that there is a little baby girl in there! So far she knows that they are fraternal twins, not identical and they are counting down the days to find out the genders. That should be around 18 weeks, she is almost 8, so 10 more to go! We wish Heather a happy and healthy 9 months!!

Long Time No Blog!

First I have to tell my good friend Cassidy CONGRATS!!!! We are so happy for you!!!

Second, I wanted to wish Molly and Clint all the best as they start a new adventure!! We will miss you at the old work place.......thanks for letting me borrow the sweater, it was perfect as you can see below!

It has been a while since I have posted! We have been so busy around here! This weekend we had a surprise 80th birthday party for Jeff's dad. It was so much fun!! Jeff, Suzanne and I planned everything and it went off without a hitch. He had such a great time and we did too. We did a wine theme with bottles with special labels and grapes, along the lines of "Aged to Perfection." We had an Italian buffet for dinner. We had a quartet come and play and it was all so nice. We also had a 3 tier cake that had the journey of Don's life, it turned out awesome and tasted even better. There was about 96 people in attendance. I would say next to my wedding this was huge stress, but even more worth it. Because some of the family was from out of town, we got together the next day to finish off the lasagna...mmmm.....Jeff missed out as he got the flu the night of the party. On a side note, it was the first time that Natalie had stayed over night at mom's and Jeff and I were looking forward to an evening sans baby......it ended up me in bed reading a novel and Jeff in the guest room, venturing to the bathroom every so often.....oh well, we did sleep good. Here are some photos from the night:

Here are some photos from Don't house the day after the party:

This is Natalie's cousin Maren, she is 3 months older than Natalie and a doll!

The next group is just a bunch of random photos that I have wanted to share!

I never can resist a cute bath photo!

I have had these next photos for a while. Natalie was just sitting like a little princess on my lap and BAM....this...she wasn't all that upset about it.

I don't know why, but Natalie always looks so darn cute sitting in her chair. Although, as you can tell, sitting isn't exactly what she does..... She also looks cute trying to eat cereal......

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
