Up Goes the Tree!
Time to put the tree up! I was excited to decorate with Natalie and to see what Julia's first reaction would be. Julia saw us get the tree out and then she headed down for a nap. Natalie was a big help and had a great time decorating. I think the bottom of the tree got a few more decorations then the top!

Here is Julia's first look, touch and taste of the tree! She loved it and still loves looking at it.

And here is the final product!

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was just crazy this year. Lots of places to go and lots of people to see. We started out at my grandparents, then went to Jeff's mom side and then headed to my mom's! Here are some photos from that day!

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast
So, today was Natalie's "Thanksgiving Feast" at preschool. The feast consisted of a waffle cone bowl filled with a friendship mix that the kids made and juice boxes. It was pretty cute. I think the kids had a good time and hey, you won't catch me turning down a snack! I had the girls wear their turkey shirts and we got lots of compliments. They do however have to go in the wash as Julia spit up on hers and Natalie wrote on hers....oh well.

The Rockettes!
So I thought it would be fun to go the the Rockettes. I thought it would be even more fun to take Jeff, my goddaughter, Emily and Natalie. Man, was I wrong. The show opened, Santa came out onto the stage and Natalie was out of there. She didn't want anything to do with seeing the man in red. I took her out of the show thinking that she would calm down and I would be able to bring her back in, but that didn't happen. Jeff really didn't care about seeing the show, so I thought I would just get him and let him stay with her, but I couldn't even go back in without her wailing! I had to ask a security person to go and get him. Jeff stayed with her and I watched the show and he talked her into coming back into the show for the last 4 minutes. Oh well, Emily and I had a great time and Abbie and Emily were there too, so it wasn't a total loss. I just think she really would have liked it if she would have stayed in the arena. I don't think I will be telling her about Santa coming into her house or taking her by any mall Santa's any time soon....I also don't understand how seeing Santa was more frighting than seeing a 7 foot Elmo?!

Ready for Turkey Day!
My friend, Cami, made these super cute turkey shirts for her kids for Thanksgiving and I just had to give it a try. I dusted off the sewing machine and went to work! I found instructions for making ruffle bottom jeans, so I decided what the heck, I will try those too! I think the girls are going to look adorable on turkey day!!! (Just don't look too close at the stitching!)
