I can't believe another year has gone by! Happy 39th birthday to me!
I bet it is pretty easy to guess what I am wishing for!!
I love me some smelly lotion!
And any time Julia can give you a candle, she will.
Natalie and her girlfriends were part of the Jr. Cheer squad. They practice for a week and then got to preform at a varsity basketball game!
Jeff went with Natalie's class on a field trip to Kaufmann Museum in Newton. I think her favorite part was going to Pizza Hut after the museum.
We surprised the girls with a live Disney show a couple of Friday's ago. It was Sophia and Jake. They loved it!
The girls have been looking forward to Pioneer Day ever since they announced it. Natalie was very excited to dress like a pioneer girl with a long skirt and apron and Julia was super excited to dress like a cow girl. I saved up all my energy and went with them to check it out. Jeff got to go to and it was a lot of fun to see the girls with their classes enjoying the fun!
Acacia, Cooper and Natalie.
Pioneer Day fun!
Petting Zoo
Of course this was Julia's favorite part!

The best way to end Pioneer Day? A good old fashioned square dance with your parents and friends! First up, Julia.
Natalie's entire kindergarten class. Strange to think that too soon this will be a graduating class!
And here are just some random photos of recent things.
I wasn't the only one dealing with health issues over the holidays! Poor Max had to have a biopsy to see what was going on with the skin on his face.We really thought he would hate his cone, but he really didn't mind it too much. Here he is hanging out with Natalie.
I got a new fancy curling iron for Christmas to use on the girls, and wow, it is something. Natalie has great hair to begin with, but it is amazing curled!!
Spending time resting is always better when I have really cute company!
We have been blessed with many things since my injury, but this ranks as one of the most creative! My cousin Lyndsie brought us a basket of sunshine. Everything in it was yellow. It was so cute!
We had the neighbors over one night and they were kind enough to find some skates and protection and even help Julia. She was so exited to be able to join in the fun!
And our old pro, Natalie!
One night Julia came out in my bra and informed me she was wearing my boobies.Silly girl.
Julia's love of horses is fierce. She has them around her all the time, even at night.
Max and Jeff are best buddies. I think it is because Jeff can hold him up way above the girls.
For Christmas Natalie got a butterfly habitat. I called and ordered the caterpillars and we had them for a week and then, just like they said, they climbed to the top and started making their cocoons. It has been amazing to watch!
And now we have butterflies!!
Natalie attended a birthday party at a store called Paint the Towne. They have painting classes and also host birthday parties. They painted horses and all the kids had a great time. It was very interesting to see how each child interpreted the directions.
Finding our canvas.
Getting started!
All the girls with their paintings. They were so proud!
And Julia in her horsey towel, which she runs around yelling Neigh, Neigh in,
After my surgery I had lots of restrictions. The hardest one is not bending over. Which makes shaving your legs almost impossible, unless you tape your your razor to a yard stick.
