SNOW DAY!
Last weekend we got our first snow. 2 whole inches on a Sunday. It was a great day for snow!
A snow day can't start without a full blown breakfast of waffles and bacon.
After breakfast we decided to write letters to Santa.
After lunch the girls wanted to head out and play. After Jeff put them to work...

They decided to make some snow angles...
Then they ate some snow...
And finally it was time for some sledding!
We also celebrated Jeff's 35th birthday!
Here are the girls giving him their gifts.
Julia picked out a train for Jeff. She told him that she knew he would really like it. Hmmm. I think it was Julia who wanted the train.
Mom and Darryl came over too and helped celebrate. Darryl's birthday was the next day so the girls went ahead and gave him their gifts.
Jeff blowing out his candles which didn't want to go out! He had to ask for some back up.
And right before Jeff's party, Max jumped onto the table and licked the cake, twice. Ugh.
The next day we celebrated Darryl's birthday. Mom got these neat candles that glowed in the color of the candles.
Natalie had her yearly Kidney testing. Here we are goofing around in the waiting room while waiting for the sonogram.
And here we are in the sonogram room. Natalie did a great job laying still for 45 minutes while they checked her kidneys out!
The results were great. Both kidneys looked as good as they could! We had some ice cream to celebrate.
Julia had her first soccer game last weekend. Her little team was so cute. They played great! Julia is in the one with the black and pink shoes.
Natalie's dance class had parent watch week last week. We got a little sneak peek as to what they have been doing! She is so adorable.
For a little get away we decided to head out to the ranch. As always we were greater by the cows.
Our first trip out we saw some wild turkeys.
Then we checked out the cows!
Natalie was leaning to the window yelling, "Hi-ya nature!"
For the first time I let the girls drive the Ranger by themselves. They were so excited. Natalie was very methodical in the way she did it. Julia however, floored it and the Ranger actually smoked.
And here are some random photos from the past week or so.
The girls are just so cute sleeping together.
Julia snuggling with one of my shirts.
Julia sticking her head out of the sunroof yelling for Natalie.
Hanging out one evening with Mi Mi and Pa Pa.
The girls and I just hanging out.
Natalie is so excited that her name is on Santa's list at Target. Julia, not so much.
Natalie and Julia being goofy in front of a Frozen photo prop.
The icicles the girls found on the tube slide after the snow.
Natalie is learning French this year. Here she is counting to 10.
Natalie has been taking gymnastics for a while and her she is doing tuck jumps on the beam.
