"This Door is Broke"

Before we jump into Halloween night, Julia has been up to a couple of things. First, she can sit up really well now and loves to do it! Second, I felt a tooth this morning! I can't believe she is big enough for a tooth. In fact, I have had these shoes that I have wanted to put on her, but I keep thinking that she is just too little. So, the other night I thought I should try them on her and guess what? They are almost too small! Really? She is growing that fast? Please God, let the time stand still just for a moment so I can hold on to my babies!!!

Ah, Halloween, my second favorite holiday. Today was packed with all kinds of fun.

First, we carved a couple of pumpkins. Jeff made one that looks like Dora and Natalie made one with just a bunch of holes in it. I told her that it would look like the stars at night.

After Julia got up from her nap we headed out. First stop, MiMi's house! And here we are:

Mommy and her Bunny.

I know that I am her Mom, but she is SO cute!!

The cutest bunny and the most beautiful butterfly in the whole world. At least in my world.

Natalie is so funny. She had on her bunny costume and then as we walked out the door she decided that she wanted to be a butterfly.

Julia was killing me in this costume.

Here we all are again.

Daddy and his girls.

So after MiMi's we went to Abbie's house! There were yummy things to eat and lots of trick or treating! Ethan and Julia weren't really ready to go out, but we did snap this photo of them.

Here the girls are at their first house. No one answered the door and Natalie said, "This door is broke." It was too funny. It didn't take them long to run to the next house where they found some candy.

Julia trick or treating.

The girls hitting a house! Natalie was just running from house to house and man, she is quick! It didn't take the girls long to figure out exactly what trick or treating was or that it was a lot of fun!

After Abbie's house we headed back to our house for trick or treating with Emily and Ava. Natalie was pretty warmed up, so she ran from house to house.

After we finished trick or treating in our neighborhood we told Natalie that she could hand some candy out. For some reason we had tons of kids and we quickly ran out of candy. So we told Natalie we had to shut the door. Natalie didn't think that was a good idea, so she asked if she could hand out the candy that she had collected. We told her that she could and that is what she did. What a sweetheart. It was too cute.

Here is the finished Dora pumpkin. Jeff did a great job and lots of kids who came to the door knew exactly who it was.

I always get a little sad when this holiday is over, but we had so much fun and it was great seeing the girls have so much fun. Can't wait to see what the holidays hold.

Preschool Halloween Party

Today was Natalie's Halloween party at her preschool. She was pretty excited about it, I mean, anything with a cookie and you have that girls attention. So, I went a little early and helped them set-up for it. I really can't beleive that she is even old enough to be in preschool. Seems like just yesterday I was dragging her around in an infant seat.

Camryn and Julia just hanging out being cute.

The kids getting ready to enjoy all the goodies!

Natalie digging into all the yummy treats.

Natalie's class. I love photos with lots of kids. The kid on the left side making that face, cracks me up. Also, the kids next to Natalie seems fascinated with her wings. His name is Son and he screams EVERY day when his parents drop him off. You think by now he would be over it. Caden, my friend Cary's son, is standing on the other side of Natalie.

Waiting, Waiting and More Waiting

Emily called me after her doc's appointment and told me that Ethan was on his way! Her plan was for us to watch Abbie and of course we were happy to! Here is the family of three, right before they left for the hospital.

Here the girls are out hanging with Jeff. Jeff accidentally dropped his cell phone and Natalie ran over it with both the front and the back tires. It was too funny.

Of course Julia had to be included in the fun too.

Welcome Baby Ethan!

We have waited so long to meet Abbie's new brother, Ethan. He finally graced us with his presence on Oct. 26th at 11:20pm. Weighing in at 8.4 pounds and 20 inches long, we are pretty sure he will be able to deal with all these girls!

Mr. Ethan Joseph

Mmmmm...the smell of new babies.

Mommy and Baby

The new family of four.

Natalie showing Abbie how to hold her new brother.

Emily and I with our babies.

What the?

So, Natalie brings some interesting things home from preschool, but this is the best. A painted pumpkin with pom pom ears? I have no idea what this is supposed to be, but both Jeff and I find it a little disturbing.

Just Hanging Out

I love hanging out with my girls. There is nothing better than having them so close. Julia is trying to grab things all the time. When we were trying to take this photo she was all about Natalie's cup.

Some Bunny Loves You

Since Halloween is right around the corner, I thought I should maybe try on Julia's costume. Turns out it is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. You can see by the photos that it took her a while to get into it.

Dad, can you help me?

I really don't like this Mommy.

Oh wait, this is OK!

Hey, where did my hands go?

Yep, I am even cute from the back!

Natalie thought it would be funny to hold her ears up, and I agree, it is super cute.

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
