Staying at Home

So, I am calling this my first official week at home. Natalie and I have just had a blast. Here is a rundown of our week:

Monday - Natalie had her 15 month check up. She got two shots :(, but did really good. She weighed in at 20.8lbs (25th percentile) and 30.5 inches long (50th percentile). I think she had lost a little weight due to the flu she had just had. In the afternoon we went and played with Solomon. We had lots of fun!

Tuesday - We bundled up and went to the Tot Spot at Exploration place. Natalie just loved it. Then we met Jeff for a little lunch at McDonalds. Yum.

Wednesday - We went to tumble tots at the YMCA and then went to Chuck E Cheese for dinner. I signed us up to be part of a SAHM's group and met the ladies and kiddos for the first time. They were really nice and we had a lot of fun! We are going to attend a play date on Friday.

Thursday - We just hung out at home! We did go on a walk in the afternoon with Carrie and Emily and then joined them for dinner. Natalie started eating a lot today. I think she might have one of those worm things because she ate more than me! Maybe she is just finally feeling better with the flu and teething and felt like really eating. I think she can chew a lot better now that she has those back teeth too. I am having a hard time determing which ones they are to write in her baby book, not sure they are the far back ones, but she won't let me get in there to really look!

Today - We went to a playgroup this morning and now we are napping. The play group was a lot of fun and I think Natalie enjoyed hanging out with other kids close to her age. We did met Jeff for lunch at Wendy's to give him a new shirt after he and his coffee mug had it out this morning and the mug won. This afternoon we are going to Cousin Heather's and then maybe to play with Caden.

Above are some random pics from the last couple of weeks. Oh, Dad was in town too and Natalie, bless her heart, just getting over the flu and cutting 4 molars wasn't herself. I think she enjoyed having him here, because every time he would leave the house she would be really concerned. She also cried when he left, so I think she had a good time. Hopefully next time he comes she will be running on all cylinders.
Mom is still in CO visiting Grandma. Jared flew out on Wednesday to join her. Mom has been there since last Saturday, but I think she and Jared plan on driving home on Sunday. We are just all praying that Grandma is as comfortable as she can be right now.
Anyway, that's all for now!

Catching Up

A lot has happened since my last blog. We got back from Breckenridge and I began my last week and a half at work. It was great wrapping it up, but pretty boring too. My last day at work was also my birthday. To celebrate we all went and ate at a Japanese Grill, where they cook the food in front of you. I thought Natalie would be scared, but she loved it! She ate everything, even the soup. She is so funny.

Us at dinner.

All of us after dinner...way past Natalie's bedtime.

So, my last day was on a Wednesday. The next day my mom said that they were traveling to Denver to be with my Grandma. Her health hasn't been well and they wanted to see her. I thought this would be a great time to take Natalie out to meet her Great Grandma for the first time. They were driving and Natalie and I flew. Jeff couldn't go so it was just us girls.

Natalie waiting for the plane in Denver.

Natalie in Colorado - can you see the mountains behind her?

In the hotel room Natalie loved looking out the door. So much so, that she yanked the curtain right off! It wasn't a match for my Natalie!

The hospital that Grandma was in was amazing. It was honestly just beautiful. There was also a drink and snack station for guests. A fountain soda machine was just fantastic and the fridge was loaded with milk and snacks that Natalie just loved!

As you know from the blog, Natalie loves refrigerators. This one in our room was right up her alley! She loved to put all kinds of things in it.

Natalie was also a big fan of the glass elevator. She loved watching everything happen!

This is Natalie enjoying the free breakfast buffet. She actually got to enjoy it twice because she got up so early!

This is my Great Grandma and us!

Below are some older photos. She loves BBQ sauce. This is her dumping the plate and then licking off the BBQ sauce! She is so smart.

I just love this look on her face!

Natalie sure loves her dog, Rile. I think Natalie likes Riley more than Riley likes her!

I love this photo of Natalie in her new swimming suit finding her belly button!

After we got home from Denver, Natalie got the flu and then Jeff and I got the flu and then my mom got the flu. It was terrible!! I think we are finally on the mend. My dad was supposed to come yesterday, but decided to go and visit my grandma until we felt better. He is coming tomorrow and it should be fun!

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
