Just A Swingn'

As most of you know Natalie sleeps in her swing, with it running on high, swaddled, with a CD of a hairdryer running all night long! I thought I would share some video as I am sure that this is hard to picture. The video is kind of creepy as it was shot in night vision. Anyway, Jeff and I always say our bedroom sounds like an airplane since this is where she is currently sleeping. I tried her in her baby bed for a nap today and she slept for an hour. Maybe she is out growing her need for a swing, but she is sleeping 10-11 hours in it a night without waking up, so I hate to chance changing that!

The Prettiest Baby Ever!

This is Natalie just hanging out in her high chair at dinner. I know she is supposed to be strapped in, but man she hates those straps. She loves to just relax in the chair as you can see.

This is the adorable outfit Natalie was wearing at her three month photo. These are the photos we took at home after she had a nap and something to eat. She was much more agreeable.

This is Natalie in her Jumperoo. She loves it. She is already very independent. I wonder where she gets that from....Anyway, she is holding a toy and has learned to sort of put it in her mouth - it is too cute. We do have to wedge her in there with a towel because she still seems so little. And as always she has that tongue going!

This is Natalie helping Mommy blow out the candles on her birthday cake! She was a BIG help!

WARNING: This might be one of the funniest videos you have ever seen. We were having dinner and Natalie was just smiling and cooing at us and I just had to get it on tape. She is just so darn cute! Anyway, about half way through the video she shows her true colors!

3 Months Old!

On Friday Natalie was 3 months old. We took her to get professional photos taken this morning and she was not in the mood. This is the only one we bought. She has been there 4 other times and has done great, but today was not her day. I still think it is adorable We did take some more photos of her today in this outfit as it has a really cute pink jacket with it. I will post those later. I think her eyes are changing. Looking back on other photos they looked a lot more blue and now I am not sure what color they will end up!

Jeff's sister got married in Hawaii yesterday. Jeff sent me this photo of her over his cell phone. I am sure there will be more to come, but this is my first glance and I thought I would share it.

Congrats Vickie!!

My friend Vickie had her baby boy last night! His name is Lance and he weighed 9.2lbs and is 19.5 inches long. We are going to go meet him at lunch and I can't wait!

Another Year Older

So, today is my birthday, another year older - now I am 33. Wow, I can't believe it. This is the first year that I really feel complete - as silly as it sounds. I feel so lucky. I have a great hubby, a beautiful daughter, a good job, a great house, wonderful friends and the list goes on and on and on...the only thing I do wish is that Jeff was here to share it with me. He is currently in Hawaii attending his sisters wedding...I guess I will let him off the hook. :) So what is my wish for this new year? That nothing changes, because it is perfect, just the way it is.

Why Being A Mom Rocks

I love solving problems andI think I am pretty good at it. In fact, lots of times Jeff tells me he just wants me to listen to his problem and not try and solve it. I think it is a women thing. Anyway, I had a new problem that needed a solution. The problem: I have to go back to work tomorrow (yes, I am very sad about it) and needed someplace to put Natalie that was both safe and entertaining while I am getting ready for work. The solution: Putting her travel swing in the bath tub, where she is safe from the 60lb. labradoodle, Riley, and hooking a DVD player up to the existing TV so she can watch Baby Einstein....tried it last night and it worked like magic! :)

New Noises

Natalie has been making all kinds of cooing noises lately, but this morning she laughed at Grandpa! It was too cute and I could argue the most beautiful noise ever made....

This is me just smiling and laughing at Grandpa. I have enjoyed his visit so much and have been a good little girl for him! Mommy is not sure what those lines on my head are....they kind of look like an airplane runway strip....

This is me in the very first outfit that Mommy and Daddy bought when they found out they were having a baby. They didn't know if they were having a boy or a girl, so it is very gender neutral. I still look very cute in it. I think, according to the length of the legs, that Mommy waited a little too long to put it on me and it may go in the "outgrown" box very soon.

This is me right after I went to take the Great Grand Kids photo. I did so good and Mommy and Daddy even went out to eat after it and I just slept and hung out! It was such a nice night!
