I want to crawl!

And then I end up on my stomach really mad!! Jeff and I think she will be crawling by Christmas.

Mmmmm.....Wet Wipes

Just like Natalie, Julia loves to suck on wet wipes. I really hope there isn't anything in them that could harm her! She is so funny when she is just sitting and there is one hanging out of her mouth. It just cracks me up.

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

So, today was Natalie's "Thanksgiving Feast" at preschool. The feast consisted of a waffle cone bowl filled with a friendship mix that the kids made and juice boxes. It was pretty cute. I think the kids had a good time and hey, you won't catch me turning down a snack! I had the girls wear their turkey shirts and we got lots of compliments. They do however have to go in the wash as Julia spit up on hers and Natalie wrote on hers....oh well.

The kids in circle time.

The Rockettes!

So I thought it would be fun to go the the Rockettes. I thought it would be even more fun to take Jeff, my goddaughter, Emily and Natalie. Man, was I wrong. The show opened, Santa came out onto the stage and Natalie was out of there. She didn't want anything to do with seeing the man in red. I took her out of the show thinking that she would calm down and I would be able to bring her back in, but that didn't happen. Jeff really didn't care about seeing the show, so I thought I would just get him and let him stay with her, but I couldn't even go back in without her wailing! I had to ask a security person to go and get him. Jeff stayed with her and I watched the show and he talked her into coming back into the show for the last 4 minutes. Oh well, Emily and I had a great time and Abbie and Emily were there too, so it wasn't a total loss. I just think she really would have liked it if she would have stayed in the arena. I don't think I will be telling her about Santa coming into her house or taking her by any mall Santa's any time soon....I also don't understand how seeing Santa was more frighting than seeing a 7 foot Elmo?!

Ready for Turkey Day!

My friend, Cami, made these super cute turkey shirts for her kids for Thanksgiving and I just had to give it a try. I dusted off the sewing machine and went to work! I found instructions for making ruffle bottom jeans, so I decided what the heck, I will try those too! I think the girls are going to look adorable on turkey day!!! (Just don't look too close at the stitching!)

Morning Game Of Memory

Sunday morning Jeff was playing a game of Memory with the girls. It is so much fun to play these kinds of games with Julia around.

Here she is waiting for her turn.

Here she is trying to grab the cards.

And here she is deciding to eat the tag on the Boppy since she failed at eating the cards!

Cheese Please

I love trying to get a photo of the girls together...and yes, I like to dress them alike. Natalie loves to "match" her sister!

Video Post

I had a bunch of little videos of the girls, so I thought I would publish them all under one post!

Julia is trying really hard how to figure out how to crawl. I am amazed everyday at how much more she has figured out. Since this video she has learned to push up on her hands. Jeff and I think she will be crawling by Christmas. It makes me so sad - I don't want her to grow up this fast and I don't want to have to chase after her!! We better start getting better at making sure all the little items on the floor are picked up. That is going to be so hard with all of Natalie's toys!

Natalie loves to jump on our bed and sing. She can see herself in our mirror and she loves to watch herself. Here she is singing, "No More Monkey's Jumping on the Bed." She does have a little bit of a stuffy nose, which I think makes it even cuter.

For an encore she sang her new prayer that she learned at Kids Day Inn. She sings just like an angel!

Julia is sitting up so well now and she just laughs when you blow or tickle her on the belly. It is too funny. She also screams and man, she can scream loud! She doesn't do any babbling yet, but she sure does yell! So, I yell back at her, I mean, I want her to know I understand what she is saying!

Julia has both her bottom teeth now and I think you can even see them in this shot! She still loves to chew on our fingers, it just hurts a little more now!

When Natalie was little I bought her this teether that vibrated. She didn't want anything to do with it. I decided to get it out for Julia and she loves it. It is just so funny to see her use it. You can hear it and she just gives you this funny look. It just cracks me up.

And here we are again, blowing zerberts on Julia's belly making her laugh. One of my favorite things to do!!

Happy Birthday Jeff!

Today was Jeff's birthday and we celebrated all day. After letting Jeff sleep in, you know until 8:30, Natalie determined it was time to open presents.

Julia getting ready for the presents!

Natalie is already ready for the presents and already sporting her Christmas PJ's.

Julia really wanted to grab the presents, here she is folding herself in half to get one. What a silly girl.

Jeff getting some help from Natalie.

Baby Julia.

Natalie trying to give Jeff this present while Julia is trying to intercept.

We got Jeff a Kinect for his birthday and I think Natalie is mad that Julia has the game for it.

My two sweet little girls. I love how they are both holding their hands the same way.

Jeff and his girls.

Julia and Don.

Me and my girls. I love the look on Julia's face in this one.

The family.

The chocolate dipped strawberry cake I made for Jeff. It really was good!

Natalie singing happy birthday to Jeff. I think that is her favorite part of birthdays.

Jeff told Natalie that she could help him blow out the candles. He said he would count to three and they would do it together. He made it to one before she bent over and blew them out.

So, we lit them again and let Jeff blow them out and make a wish.

Here Jeff is trying out his Kinect. It really is cool.

Even Natalie got in on the action. Pa Pa Don didn't think it sounded like fun.

Jeff and Suzanne playing.

I think Jeff had a great birthday. We went shopping after nap time and had dinner with the girls. Now I think we are ready to start another week!

Random Happenings

Natalie's new love is the phone. She loves answering it and she loves calling people on it. So, if you have been lucky enough to have Natalie talk to you on the phone, now you can have a visual!

I can't get enough of my girls! Not sure if you can see it very well, but one of Natalie's favorite teethers is this new one that looks like a hand. She loves chewing on Jeff and I's hand, but as soon as she got teeth that was over. When I saw this at the store, I knew she would love it.

Mom got Natalie this bike for her very first Christmas. She keeps it at her house for her to use there. The other day when we were there she asked Mom if she could borrow it. She loves this thing and zips all around the house on it. Recently she has started pulling her wagon while yelling, "Chug-a-Chug-a-Choo-Choo!"

And to answer your question, no she never wears clothes. As soon as we get home the shoes, socks and pants come off. Usually I can keep a shirt on her, but some days it isn't worth the fight.

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
