Julia's ears just crack me up. I have no idea where she got them, but I love them. The girls have had a wild week. We have been trying to get Natalie to nap, but she has been refusing and then she is a terror all night. So, on Thursday Jeff told her that if she took a nap she could watch Dora and that seemed to work. So far so good. She has been really clingy lately too, I think she is still having a hard time adjusting. Poor thing. Hopefully it just gets better and better. I have heard that six months is the magic number. Julia just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Now she is always trying to pull herself into am upright sitting position when she is sitting in a swing or a reclined chair. She can also grab for toys now and can spin a rattle that she has. Amazing. I love watching these two girls grow up!

Back to Blogging
It has been too long since I have entered a post and I can't wait to get back at it. I think I will just jump on in.
This weekend was really busy, but we got a lot done. Saturday Julia and I attended a funeral and Jeff and Natalie went shopping. Sunday we helped Mom and Darryl clean the basement so they would be ready for the new carpet that is coming on Tuesday.
Here are some photos from the last week or so...
I am pretty sure that no one else looks this good while wearing a baby carrier. It could be that the baby is super cute.

This is Natalie in her new Dora socks. She pronounces Dora as "Dorka", which is really funny. She has already informed me that she wants a Dorka birthday. HA!

I love this photo of Natalie and Julia. Not sure what is going on, but I am pretty sure that Julia doesn't like it.
These are a couple of photos of Julia before we left for the funeral. I took the flower off her head, wasn't sure it was appropriate, but I am certain that it is cute. Her Godmother, Kendra, got her this dress and it is so cute. Thanks Kendra!

So, we have an inflatable pool on the deck and one afternoon Natalie came in and told Jeff that she needed to dry her hair. She proceeded to do so with the AC register.
I just love that Natalie will now hold Julia for 1 second so I can get a photo of them. This photo only cost me one mint. That was Natalie's going price. I just love the girls in their PJ's.

Jeff and I call Julia the Hibernator. When this girl sleeps, she sleeps. She is still sleeping in the swing in our room, with it on high and in her swaddle, but she will sleep from around 8pm to around 7am, get up and eat and sometimes go back to sleep until 10. Now that is my kind of sleeping! Yes we do have a very ugly swing as we have already blown through one motor and had to buy a new swing. But I loved the seat of the old swing, but needed the motor of the new swing so we just mixed them.
Here is Julia hanging out in Natalie's room. She loves this little chair too.
Our friend Carol made these hats for the girls for the Holiday's and I just love them. They are so cute. I can't wait for them to wear them!!!

Jeff hurt his toe a while ago and tapes it before his kick boxing class, here is Natalie taping her toes too. She cracks me up!

Dad is leaving to head back home Monday morning. We will sure miss all his help! I have a doctors appointment Tuesday morning, only two more left before my scheduled c-section!!

Week 35 Doctors Appointment
So, I had a doctors appointment at 8:30 this morning. When I got there I found out that my doc was out and I would be seeing a resident. First thing they did was weigh me and holy cow, I gained 6lbs in a week. How is that even possible! My blood pressure was fine though, so they just determined that I was retaining water. The resident checked me and I am now at a "strong" 3 and 85% effaced. I am still having contractions. She told me that really I could go into labor at anytime, all the stars were aligned. If the baby is born before 37 weeks, which will be next Wednesday, she will be a preemie, but she shouldn't have any major issues. I have had a hard time sleeping lately so they told me I could take some Tylenol PM, I can't wait to try it out tonight. I am still taking it easy and praying that she stays in there one more week!

Catching Up!
I am so behind on posting photos! Here are some from recent activities. Here is Natalie just being super cute hanging out on our bed.
MiMi bought her this really cute outfit and I couldn't resist taking a couple of photos.

I love it when I hold Natalie and she just cuddles my stomach. It is so cute.
We celebrated MiMi's birthday the Saturday before. Natalie loves to wear her reading glasses and she looks so silly in them.

One of her new favorite things to do is line up her chairs and boss us around on who is sitting where. It is pretty funny.
Natalie loves to visit the nursery, here she is with a baby rocking her in the chair with one of the baby blankets.
Just love close up photos of Natalie.
Dad came into town to help take care of Natalie as MiMi had to have her gallbladder out. It has been so nice having him here! Here they are taking care of their babies by rubbing their backs. Mom stopped by to see Natalie, as she hadn't seen her since her surgery!
Jeff and Natalie hanging out!
Natalie loving on her baby.
Since the tournament has started, Natalie has been all about her little basket ball goal. She is very serious when she goes to make a basket and she is pretty good if I do say so myself!

Natalie glad to see her MiMi after a break because of MiMi's surgery!

Sesame Street Live!
So, today we went to Sesame Street Live with Abbie and her family. The girls had such a great time! We were so excited to see them have so much fun. Jeff and Natalie even wore their Elmo attire and looked so cute together. We did have to buy a 10 dollar balloon, but that is OK. Elmo didn't hug Natalie and she was a little upset, she kept saying, "Elmo hug Nannie" and would wrap her arms around herself. Poor thing. At one point she even tried darting across the floor to get to him to get a hug! She did get hugs and high fives from a lot of the other characters.
