See Natalie's newest accomplishement! Natalie rolled over for the very first time today! It was so exciting. Mom's friend Janell saw her start and yelled for mom who witnessed the last half of the roll. Mom yelled for me and we got her to do it again. What we got taped was the 3rd roll of her life! How exciting!!

I Can't Believe It
I got a little anxious and decided to try Natalie in her bed last night. It is similar to the one pictured above. She is still sleeping in the bassinet part. The result? She slept all night. I couldn't believe it. I guess she has outgrown her swing. We will see if it still continues tonight.....I did still play her "music" and swaddled her. I was so proud of her!! It is weird to see her in a bed in our room and not in a swing!

4 Month Check Up

So today Natalie had her 4 month check up. She had to get 5 more shots and she did great after a couple rounds of Itsy Bitsy Spider. Here are her stats:
Weight - 12.12 - 25th Percentile
Height- 23.75 - 25th Percentile
Head Circumfrence- 15.7/8 - 25th Percentile
Yep, she is in the 25th percentile all the way around. What a sweet LITTLE baby.
We had to make a decision today, start rice ceral or not. We decided not. She seems to be doing well without it, so we are going to wait until the six month mark unless something happens before then. And knowing Natalie, something will probably happen before then. I think I am more ready to start it then Jeff...but then again I am the one getting up at 4 in the morning to feed her.
Her first 2 days at daycare were hard. I went by at lunch on day one and she was crying so hard I could hear her in the hall. I nursed her, played with her and then put her to sleep. She slept for 2 hours and then ate really well and was in a good mood when I picked her up.
Today she took a good nap this morning, could be because she got up at 4am, and ate pretty well for them. She acted interested in the ladies when I picked her up, so I do think she likes all the action. Plus they have a Jumperoo and we know she loves those things.
I made a hair appointment at lunch tomorrow to keep me from going again. Grandma is in town and I am sure she will drop by to check on her. She stopped by to see Natalie tonight and Natalie was glad to see her. They have a really special bond. I think I am going to go shorter with my hair. I think I have worn it in a ponytail the last 2 weeks. I need something easier and quicker.
Jeff starts his staying at home this Thursday and I can't wait. I think they are going to have the best time. I think we are going to try Natalie in a bed this weekend and see how it goes. I really need to get her out of the swing and in a bed! If it doesn't fly this weekend, I think I will just leave her in the swing and let her tell me when she is ready.

This Weekend
This weekend was very busy for us. We took Natalie's 4 month photos on Saturday and shopped at the mall for most of the afternoon. On Sunday we went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart and hung out around the house doing chores.
The biggest news of the weekend is that Jeff has decided to work from home 2 days a week and Grandma has agreed to watch Natalie one day a week. This way Natalie will only have to be in daycare 2 days a week. I am also going to ask my work if I could possibly work from home one day a week, I am not hopeful, but it doesn't hurt to ask. We are going to keep this schedule until Natalie is 1. I am very grateful that Jeff and Mom are making these sacrifices for our family. I think it is the best thing for us.
Tomorrow is Natalie's first day at daycare. We are really nervous, but the place she is going to is great and we have met her teachers and they are really nice. I hope that she does OK. She also gets her booster shots on Tuesday. I just hate those. I hope that she is almost done. She doesn't do too bad if I give her Tylenol before we go, but I still feel terrible for her!
Below are a bunch of misc photos and videos from this weekend and last week!

New Videos
I have a couple of cute videos to share. Why is it that you always sound like a huge dork on the video? It makes me want to quit talking on them. I am also doing the "mommy" voice that I get teased about at work for doing. Oh well, Natalie seems to like it.
Here is another thing that I think is funny. Nicknames. Mom calls Natalie Boo-Boo Shake, I call her Bugga or Bugga Boo and Jeff calls her The Baby. Where do these things come from?
Tomorow I am hosting book club and I am so excited that Kelly is bringing Solomon. Solomon is 1 month older than Natalie and I am sure they will be friends. Anyway, it is her first real play date. OK, they probably won't be playing much, but it will still be fun to get them togther. I will be sure to post photos. I can see them now, Natalie in the jumperoo and Solomon in the exersaucer watching Baby Einstein.

In this one Natalie is sitting up all alone, well with a little support. Anyway, she is so cute sitting and we got her smiling a couple of times too.
In this one she was super fussy and has suddenly taken a liking to the song Itsy Bitsy Spider, if she is crying and you sing it, she stops. You don't even have to do the hand motions with it, although that is her very favorite. Sometimes I sing it over and over again in the car. It is too funny.

Changes Are Coming!
First things first, Natalie got a new swing, pictured above. It is called the Sweet Peace Newborn soothing center and it rocks. Litteraly. I know it looks really weird - if you want to learn more about it, here is the website: http://mysweetpeace.com. Here is how it came about.Poor little Natalie has no idea that her world is about to change. If you don't know, her grandma has been watching her since I went back to work. She was doing so becuase our daycare didn't have an opening until Monday the 18th. So, Grandma is watching Natalie Mon-Wed, because she will be traveling with Dad on Thurs and Fri. Jeff is taking off Thursday to watch her, his first entire day alone with her. Should prove to be entertaining. I hope they both make it! It will be a good trial run for him for when I have to travel. I am working from home Friday. Oh, back to my other story. So, we went and visited the daycare last Wednesday afternoon. Great place. Except, I didn't like some of the toys that they had, so I had to get my own. I know, I am a huge dork. So, I am taking her current swing, I bought a new playmat, mobile and crib toy. I tried them all out and she loves them. I am using the new swing at the house. Anyway, wish us luck as the next couple of weeks will be challenging!
Natalie is in a cranky mood today. I think she needs to poop. Poor baby - I can't beleive pooping can be such an incedent.

New Photos
Here we are watching a little TV at night!
I was trying to get a shot of her cute, chubby legs, but she kept curling them up!
This is her in her yuppie outfit. It is so cute on her!
Here she is sitting in her bumbo. She like to be independent, imaging that, so she really likes it!
Here she is doing tummy time. She hates tummy time. I don't think she will ever crawl!!Sorry it has been ages since the blog has been updated! Here are a bunch of shots we have taken over the last couple of weeks. Things have been crazy around here! Natalie does have a new trick...she sticks her tongue out (suprise, suprise) and sucks in the right side of her mouth so it makes a clicking noise. It is too funny. She is doing great. Still going to Grandmas for daycare until the 18th and then she will be going to a center.

Pics of Jeff
Just A Swingn'
As most of you know Natalie sleeps in her swing, with it running on high, swaddled, with a CD of a hairdryer running all night long! I thought I would share some video as I am sure that this is hard to picture. The video is kind of creepy as it was shot in night vision. Anyway, Jeff and I always say our bedroom sounds like an airplane since this is where she is currently sleeping. I tried her in her baby bed for a nap today and she slept for an hour. Maybe she is out growing her need for a swing, but she is sleeping 10-11 hours in it a night without waking up, so I hate to chance changing that!

The Prettiest Baby Ever!

This is Natalie just hanging out in her high chair at dinner. I know she is supposed to be strapped in, but man she hates those straps. She loves to just relax in the chair as you can see.

This is the adorable outfit Natalie was wearing at her three month photo. These are the photos we took at home after she had a nap and something to eat. She was much more agreeable.
This is Natalie in her Jumperoo. She loves it. She is already very independent. I wonder where she gets that from....Anyway, she is holding a toy and has learned to sort of put it in her mouth - it is too cute. We do have to wedge her in there with a towel because she still seems so little. And as always she has that tongue going!
This is Natalie helping Mommy blow out the candles on her birthday cake! She was a BIG help!
