Happy Father's Day!

We had such a good Father's Day! The day started with Natalie and I making Jeff's favorite breakfast, waffles with whipped creme and strawberries. Natalie is such a big help in the kitchen. After that we gave Jeff his gifts and got ready for church.
After church we tried to put Natalie down for a nap, but she cried out and I went in to see what was going on. I smelled poop as soon as I opened the door, I was talking to her as I was walking to the crib as I notice she has her diaper off and her hands in the mess!! I yelled for Jeff and told her not to move, but by the time we both got back, she had her diaper off and handed it to Jeff! I took her right to the bath and Jeff cleaned up the room, it was a great Father's Day surprise for him I am sure!
After that was cleaned up we loaded up the car to head to Don's and then to dinner, but the car wouldn't start!! So, we loaded up in Jeff's and headed to Don's. We dropped off the gifts and cake and then went to eat.
Natalie just cracks me up with her eating, every time I order her kids food, she just eats mine. Tonight she preferred my seafood chowder to her mac and cheese.
After dinner we headed back to Don's to give the dad's their gifts and to celebrate Suzanne's birthday, which is tomorrow. Natalie had a great time hanging out with everyone and she loves being the center of attention. Afterwards we took some family shots and headed home!
Last Wednesday we went to Kendra's and helped her with a couple of more things to get ready for the baby. Afterwards we took the kids to eat pizza. I loved the little July 4th outfit she has on and I got a great shot of all the kids!

Friday night we went to the Zoo PJ party. Natalie was hilarious as usual. This is a shot of us during story time. I don't give her juice, so when she gets it at events, she just goes crazy. It is pretty funny.

I just love super close ups of Natalie.

Natalie has a piggie bank that I got at my shower and she LOVES putting money in it!

This is Natalie enjoying her very first Popsicle! She thought it was the best!

Update!

We have been having such a good time! Here are some photos of a few recent activities. We are looking forward already to next weekend when we can celebrate Father's Day! This week we have a few fun things planned too.

Today we ran to Target to get somethings for a cookout we were having with Kendra and her family. Jeff and I love Starbucks, so we decided to start Natalie early! Actually, she is drinking whip cream, but she thinks she is pretty big stuff!

This is a photo of the kids hanging out with bubbles on the deck tonight before we ate.

On Sunday, Don came over to hang out with Natalie. I think you can tell from the photo that they had a great time.

After nap on Friday, Natalie brought out her hair bows and then decided that Riley needed to be wearing them. I give Riley a lot of crap, but she really is a good sport.

Friday we met Jeff for lunch at a great restaurant in Old Town. We ordered queso and Natalie just loves it. It was so funny to watch her eat it. She is getting so big!

On Thursday Emily came over to hang out with us for a little bit while her parents got some things done around the house. She just started standing on her own and it was so cute to see her standing by Natalie. She is ten months old this month.

On Wednesday we went to a class at the zoo to learn about penguins and ran into our friends Christina and her daughter Ingrid. We hung out at the zoo and then had lunch. The girls are so funny together.

Last Sunday when we were getting ready to go to church I realized that Jeff and Natalie were in matching outfits and I had to snap a photo.

Last Saturday I pulled Natalie's hair up into a ponytail for the first time. It was so cute on her and I couldn't believe her hair was long enough to pull it off! I will have to do it again.

A couple of weeks ago Emily came over and Natalie was nice enough to give her a ride! We are in trouble when they turn 16!

Busy, but fun!

We have been up to so much! Today I took Natalie to some stables with my SAHM's group. This was the first time she had ever seen a pony or any other farm animal for that matter. She loved them. When she was on the pony I was holding onto her leg and she kept telling me No! I also had a hold of the back of her pants and she really didn't want me to hold her there either, but I told her too bad! It was a good time.

My Aunt Linda got Natalie an Ed Hardy outfit for her first birthday. She is finally big enough to wear it and it is so cute on her. She wore it the other day and got so many comments on it!

Natalie, Grammie and I went to Hobby Lobby the other night to get some stuff. Of course we had to goof around while we were there!

Of course while Dad was here we had a project. This time it was garage shelves. The guys did a great job and Natalie and I were the supervisors. Now, we just need to get the shelves loaded with stuff!

This is the before photo of the garage.

A Fun Friday, Saturday and Sunday(so far)!

On Friday we went to Salina and Dad bought Aunt Linda some rocking chairs for her new front porch. He also bought a little on because she always has grand kids staying with her. Natalie really got a kick out of the little one!

For dinner we took Nonie to eat at her favorite restaurant Red Lobster. Natalie did pretty good, but she was sure running out of steam.

Nonie's next door neighbor has chickens and they feed them grass, so Nonie was teaching Natalie how to feed them grass. I love how in the second one she has a death grip on Dad's finger.
On Saturday we went to the Zoo to see the new Tiger exhibit. We went with Joe, Carrie, Emily and Chelsea! It was a lot of fun and the exhibit was great! We also got to feed a giraffe and Natalie thought that was pretty cool!

After the Zoo Dad made is famous deer wraps, beans and cole slaw and I talked Jeff into helping me around the house! You've got to love the men of 2000!
Natalie decided not to nap after the zoo, so I drug out the sprinkler and let her play! I love her little ruffled butt!
Today Dad and Natalie had on matching colors, so I had to take a photo. In the first photo Natalie is telling us she is one!

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
