Merry Christmas!

We are on day two of our Christmas celebrating, but to be honest, I think we have celebrated the entire month! Below are some photos of our recent activities!
Our neighbors and friends, Joe, Carrie and Emily, came over for a gift exchange a few Sundays ago. Emily is four month's old and we thought it would be fun to dress them a like. Thanks to my mom, they looked so cute!

Of course we had to work in making Christmas cookies one weekend. I got Natalie this adorable apron on our trip to Estes Park, CO in September. I can't believe how cute she is in it! Yes, that is a gate around our tree! I didn't want to be telling Natalie "no" all month, so I just made it where she couldn't get to it!

Natalie is a huge helper now. She loves to wipe the floor clean and help daddy vacuum!

On Monday I decided to take Natalie to the YMCA to go swimming to burn off some energy. I thought she was so adorable in her cover-up. I did forget that we bought her swim suit when she was 4 months old, so it was a little snug. I should have put that on her Christmas list!

Christmas Eve morning Natalie and I were sorting gifts, some of them where going to my mom's for later that evening. Anyway, I went to get a drink in the kitchen and I guess Natalie decided she needed a break too, as she found wrapped gifts to have multiple uses!

When I am in the kitchen Natalie always has to have an eye on me and this is her favorite seat in the house. The bottom of the refrigerator. She loves to just hang out in it! Mom got her a kitchen stool for Christmas. I think she is a little short for it, but when she grows into it, it will be wonderful!

On Christmas Eve we went over to my mom's to open presents. Of course Natalie got a ton of great things and Jeff and I didn't do too shabby either! She was so good while we were there. Mom had gotten her a mug with her name on it and I think she played with it for like an hour! She just put stuff in it and took stuff out of it. It was really funny. She also loved a Tinkerbell pillow that mom got her. Yes, it is the same dress she had on in the other photos, but I just loved it and it was machine washable! Can't beat that!

Christmas morning at our house was full of fun for Natalie! She was super surprised as you can see when she saw all the presents from Santa! I wish it was Christmas every day! Jeff got me some new PJ's, shirts and a nice candle. I think he enjoyed his new shoes, video game and wallet. All in all, I think we both did pretty well!

In the afternoon we went to my grandparents. Below is a photo of all of us together. 4 generations of women there! Amazing. It is too funny when we go to my grandparents, they have this little poodle and Natalie hates it. I have figured out that she hates all small dogs. We have a 70lb. labradoodle and she is all about it. I guess she just doesn't know what to do with little dogs!

We plan on celebrating with Jeff's side of the family tomorrow! We hope everyone had a magical Christmas!!

Big News!

There was lots of big news in our house this week!

First, I quit my job on Wednesday. I hated it and wanted to stay home with Natalie. Starting Jan. 15th I will be able to! I am so excited and have already started networking and planning our days with activities and friends.

Second, Natalie is going to have to have tubes in her ears. :( As you have read on the blog, she has been sick over and over again. We took her to an ENT doc and they scheduled her surgery for next Tuesday. I really hope it helps her out. They said it would.

Third, I guess there wasn't anything more exciting than one and two!!!

Have a great weekend!

Catching Up

I don't have lots of time to post, but wanted to get some new photos up. I have to get to bed...I am so tired! :) They are just for fun, the family one is from Thanksgiving. I also posted some videos of some new things Natalie has learned! She is so smart and funny!

Jeff and I are still feeling terrible, but Natalie is feeling great! In fact she has just been adorable...of course. :)
The teacher told Jeff that Natalie likes to color, so tonight I bought her some colors and a book. And can you believe it? She colors!! It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in a chair for hours nursing her and now she can color? Life goes by too quick. I love this outfit she has on too. It is too cute!

I got this apron for Natalie when we went to Estes Park. I thought it would be great for Christmas cookie making and I think Natalie agrees. Aren't her piggie tales too cute.

I saw this shirt and it just cracked me up. If you can't read it, it says, everyone is thankful for me. She got the zebra for her birthday and is really taking to it. Carrie and Joe and Emily were gracious enough to get her one too and we took it to daycare so she could have double the fun on it.

HELLO!

Yes, we are still here, but Ms. Natalie has been so sick the past month. From a fever to strep to the crup. It has been terrible! I am just going to post a bunch of photos from the past month - she has been sick, but oh so cute!

On October 23, 2007 we went to Prairie Pines Christmas Tree Farm for Pumpkin Days! We had a really good time. Natalie's Aunt Suzanne went and our neighbors Joe, Carrie and baby Emily. The weather was wonderful and I think we got some great photos!

Natalie is still going to MyGym, when she is not sick, and she still loves it! As she becomes more mobile, she loves it even more. She does hate being told what to do when she is there, so the structured play can be a challenge, but I mean, it is too be expected right, with us for parents?

Since Natalie turned 1 she has been addicted to a blankie. I got it for her the week after her birthday and she loves it. She takes it everywhere. Grammie has bought some others, in case something happens to the original.

Of course Natalie is too big to ride in her stroller, she now must help push it!

Halloween was fun. Natalie was sick, but we stopped in at her daycare party.

So, Halloween we let Natalie feed herself and it is just so funny at how messy she can get!

We had everyone (Grammie and Grandpa, Granpa Don, Carrie, Joe and Emily) over for pizza before we went trick or treating. Natalie wasn't feeling very good and we made it to 3 houses. Isn't she the cutest lady bug? Also, Doodle got in on the action and was a lady bug too. She was hilarious. Jeff and I carved the pumpkins the night before Halloween and I thought we did an exceptional job. The weather was great and we had a good time!

Natalie loves drinking out of our cups. As you can see she hasn't mastered it yet, but she sure is proud when we let her try!

Natalie wasn't crazy about this chair as an infant, but now she just loves it. We got it out Halloween for baby Emily, but now Natalie loves to sit it. It is so funny.

I bought Natalie this outfit and I thought it was so cute! I love it when she lets me pull her hair over to the side like that.

Natalie is now forward facing in the car, so the sun gets in her eyes. So, she wears these super cool shades. I think she is so cute in them!

Natalie loves her bath time. She used to hate getting her hair washed, but she is even doing better with that!

We all know that Natalie loves her Daddy. She loves to sit and read too. This is her and Daddy at Grandpa Don's house just hanging out.

Natalie hates having her hair done, so I was so happy when she sat still long enough for me to put it in piggie tails. I can't believe how stinking cute she is. Notice the blankie....

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
