Wrapping Up The School Year

Julia at a birthday party for her friend Jillian!

They also have a small arcade and the girls loved the roller coaster ride.

Here is a short video of the girls on the ride.

They also loved the dancing game!

However, their favorite by far was the laser maze.

One of Natalie's dear friends, Marisol, is moving away at the end of the school year. We hosted her for a sleep over and had a great time!

We first went to The Alley for a little bowling and fun!

Cosmic bowling!

After bowling we stopped at donut store to get donuts for in the morning. They always give you a free one when you are waiting in line. While eating hers Julia lost her other front tooth!

Jared and Michele gave Julia some horses to paint and she had a great time!

A teacher was turning 60 who loved Dr. Suess and as a surprise they asked students to dress as characters. Natalie and Marisol decided to dress as Thing 1 and Thing 2.

Julia peeking out as I was taking photos.

As the school year wrapped up and Julia moves from the Early Childhood to Lower School we thought it would be nice to give all the "specials" teachers a gift. We got a violin for the music teacher.

For the gym teacher we purchased new hop scotch mats.

The librarian is having a small library for the playground made. It should be cute!

Natalie's final field trip was to Cowtown. After reading a couple of Laura Ingalls Wilder book's it was perfect!

Here is  a little video of the spelling test at the old school.

And her the kiddos are in the saloon having lunch as it was raining that day.

Natalie with her friend's Clare and Acacia. Acacia was leaving school early so this was her official last day.

Spring storms can be a pain, but they can be really beautiful too.

The last day of school brought lots of fun and tears!

First up Natalie's final assembly.

Natalie and classmates in a group photo of everyone who completed the Wildlifer Challenge. They completed a certain number of outdoor activities and earned a prize package!

She received a special medal at the final assembly because she had more than 100 AR points!

Here is the video of her receiving it:

After Natalie's assembly Julia had her beach party. It was bitter sweet as this is her final year in early childhood.

Heading to the party with Lucy and Jillian!

We attended a family wedding and had a great time!

Here are a couple of videos of the girls dancing.

And of course there was some cousin fun.

Little cousins and....

the "big" girl cousins.

We did a bang up job cutting up the cake.

Natalie's end of year performance is called Salute to America. Everyone dresses as a historical character and performed a little speech about the person. Natalie picked Abigail Adams.

And here the girls are on the last day of school!! Hello summer!!

And Julia also learned how to....

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
