Today was blazing hot! I think we got up to 100. I decided it was time to break out the new water table. It was Julia's present from my mom for her birthday. I think they really like it, but the water was really cold!
This year we have a nest in the front and a nest in the back. Tonight I noticed that the eggs in the back had hatched! The little birds were hungry and so cute! I think I am going to get out my zoon lens and take some more photos of them as they grow!

I just love close ups of Natalie. I think she has such striking features.

Earlier in the day Lyndsie and Hadley came over to play. I snapped this photo of Julia and I think she looks like a model striking a pose.
I think she has finally decided that walking is the best way to get around. She is so funny when she is doing it, trying to keep her balance and all.

Sunday, May 8th
Mother's Day was a little hectic this year. Early Sunday morning, about 1:45am, Natalie woke up with a fever. She was miserable and didn't settle back down until 6. Julia decided to wake up about every hour, so to say the least we were exhausted before the day even began. I got her to immediate care and found out that she had double ear infections. We got her some medication and headed back home. She stayed in bed most the day and finally at around 6 she started acting normal again. It was great to just stay in the house with everyone, but I was glad that by the end of the day she was feeling better. I finally got some photos of the girls in the evening!
Julia has learned that some of the toys in the basement are meant to ride on!
Sweet big sister Natalie showing Julia how to ride on the Rody's.
Julia loves to give full on kisses! Too sweet.
Me and my girls.
I thought both girls would feel better if they had a nice bath before bed. I just love babies and their naked chunky legs!
