Crazy Sleeping Babies

I have determined that kids sleep in the weirdest positions. One of my favorites is the baby on their tummy with their arms tucked in and their butts up in the air. Tonight when I turned on the monitor to check on Julia I saw this. It is a little hard to make out, but she is laying at the top of her crib, on her back, with her feet draped over her bumper guard hanging out the back of the bed. She has been like this for a while now and I would have to guess that her legs are asleep! What a crazy kid.

Boppy Love

Julia is in love with her Boppy nursing pillow. If I put it on the floor she will crawl to it and roll around on it and just hang out with it. It is so cute. I am not sure why she is so crazy about it, maybe it reminds her of nursing? Whatever the reason, I could watch her do it all day long. Sometimes she gets to rolling around on it so much that she rolls right off. I have some great video of her showing the boppy some love, I will get it uploaded soon.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Nothing is cuter than my girls in their St. Patrick Day's shirts, alright, I may be a little biased. I love how Julia's bow started on the very top of her head and is now about on her forehead. That girl needs to get some hair!

Bear Hunt!

Natalie loves the book "We're Going on a Bear Hunt". The other night she decided that she needed to go on her own bear hunt. So, she outfitted herself in her princess outfit, McDonalds backpack (which she calls Old McDonalds) and her trusty gold flashlight. I think she found a bear under the kitchen table.

Mi Mi's Birthday

Mi Mi was going to be gone over her birthday, so we had a little surprise dinner and cake for her before she left. Of course Natalie was all about it!

For Mi Mi's birthday I bought a soy based ice cream as a trial run for Julia's birthday. I think Julia likes it!


After a little cake and ice cream it was time for freeze tag, Natalie's new favorite game. In this version Julia is chasing Natalie with a little help from Mi Mi. Julia is also getting a kick out of it!

Early Birthday Present

Julia's birthday is right around the corner and I ordered her a new toy. I gave it to her early because I couldn't wait to see if she liked it. Of course she did and Natalie loved showing her everything about it!

Outfits from MiMi

MiMi buys the girls some great outfits. These are probably one of my favorites! The shirts are so cute and the sparkly stretch pants are awesome. I love how Julia always has something in her mouth. One of her favorite things are the play silverware from the pretend kitchen.

Natalie's Kids Day Inn Class

I love class photos. I think they are so much fun. So, here is who I can name, top row with the three pink buttons is Reese. Next to her with the purple bow is Abbie. Next to Natalie in the pink and brown sweater is Emily.

Bed Rest Flash Back

On Saturday I started coming down with Mastitis. I went to the ER on Sunday and got some medicine to help. By Monday I wasn't much better and had a swollen left cheek. I went to see my doctor and he gave me an injection and told me that he wanted to see me the next day for another injection because the infection had spread to my blood. I went back today for another injection and he wants me to come in for two more. I have been resting in bed since Sunday and Jeff and Mom have done a great job taking care of the house and the girls. Jeff has to return to work tomorrow, so I hope I have my energy back! Since I have one more night of hanging out in bed, I thought I would update the blog with just some fun photos.

Natalie got this towel for Christmas, and Julia just looks hilarious in it.

And here is Princess Julia giving the magic wand a go.

This is probably the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen. My friend Jennifer sent it to me after my Grandpa died. The most wonderful thing about it is that it keeps blooming and smells fantastic! Even the willow has bloomed.


So Julia won't sit still anymore and has a hundred expressions, but the scrunchy face one has to be our families favorite!


Here she is always on the go. She is so little too. I looked in Natalie book and at 12 months Natalie weighed 22 lbs and Julia at almost 11 months is only at 17.5 lbs! I guess she is smaller!

Ten Month Photos

With everything that has been going on, two funerals, a wedding and hives, Julia's tenth month almost got away from me! Even though she was sick with a runny nose and cough, I couldn't miss the last chance to get her photos taken before she turned eleven months. She was such a great sport too and looking back at her last month photos I can't beleive how much she changes every month.
