A couple of years ago Jeff made the decision to invest in a couple of hotels in Oklahoma. It has been a great decision and last week they had a ground breaking ceremony for the new rooms they are adding to one of the hotels. It was the first time I have ever heard Jeff speak in public and I have to say I was impressed! I love him for following his dreams!

Yea! It is almost Halloween, which means it is time for the PAT trick-or-treating at the nursing home! Great time for everyone and this year our cousin, Hadley, got to join us!
My Minnie Mouse and Princess Tianna.
Hadley the witch and my girls.
Hey, who's that mouse in my car?? Julia would tell you she is Minnie Mouse Clubhouse!
My girls listening to stories and singing songs.
Time to get some CANDY!!
Natalie and Abbie
The gang, minus Ethan: Abbie, Julia, Hadley, Natalie, Chloe and Emily.
After trick-or-treating we celebrated Ethan's second birthday with lunch at McDonalds!
Saturday morning seemed like a great time to do some pumpkin carving! I had found some fun designs that I wanted to attempt. Of course it was over kill, but lots of fun!
I am not sure Julia knew what to think when she stuck her hand in her pumpkin!
I just love the girl's faces here!
After a while we warmed up to it and enjoyed cleaning out the guts!
The designs that I picked out were a little big for the pumpkins that we got at the pumpkin patch, so I sent Jeff to the store to get some bigger ones, and he didn't disappoint!
The girls with the three new pumpkins that daddy got and the one that we had!
Natalie really wanted to try and do it herself, so we let her transfer the design on the pumpkin. She did a great job! Julia really wanted to be in this photo and she is totally cheesing it up in the background. Goofy kids!
Natalie working hard!
Jeff helping Julia with the tape.
And the finished products!
Natalie transferred this one and Jeff cut it out.
Julia really wanted a kitty cat and Jeff made her one! She was so excited!
This is Natalie's free handed pumpkin face. I think it is pretty creepy!
And I decided to do Minnie Mouse, which is what I thought Julia would pick, but she loved that dang cat!
After pumpkin carving Natalie had her first game to cheer at. It is for biddy basketball and it is too cute! Emily is on her squad too and I think that makes it all the more fun.
Here they are heading into the game.
Time to cheer!
And everyone got a turn at being on the pyramid!
And here is a little video from the game.
After the game we went to McKinley's third birthday party! The girls always have a great time hanging out with their cousins.
Here they are showing the birthday girl some love.
And here are some of the girl cousins playing school downstairs. They crack me up.
On Sunday we decided to head out to Pa Pa Don's ranch. The girls wanted to ride horses and have some fun! Here are the girls just hanging out in their cute hats.
The girls had to wait for us to drink some coffee before we went riding. So, needless to say, there were ready to go!
Pa Pa getting Julia's hair out of her eyes. So sweet.
Julia was worried because this saddle didn't have a horn to hang on to, so Suzanne showed her how to hang on to the mane.
Holding on!
Natalie was done riding, but hung out and waited on her sister.
And she is back!
Natalie playing with Fabel, who was super silly today.
Yep, even I rode today.
Pa Pa Don even rode for a little while.
I love how Don let's Julia have the entire saddle and for the most part the reigns! He was teaching her how to handle the horse a little bit here. Of course she thought it was great!
Natalie was done riding horses, but enjoyed chasing the butterflies!
Julia didn't just want to ride, she wanted to help take care of the horses too!
Natalie decided she was tired and wanted to take a nap on the ATV.
Julia on the horse all by herself!
I think Jeff is just a little proud in this photo.
The girls brushing Dakota.
Suzanne always finds a way to let the girls help!
I had brought out a toddler sized airbed for Julia to nap in and here I am blowing it up and I guess it scared Julia so she took cover behind Suzanne.
Aunt Suzanne had brought out things to make caramel apples with and the girls (ok, we did too) just loved it.
After we ate our apples we decided to take some out to the horses. Pa Pa showed the girls how to do it, but they were a little afraid.
I love how Julia is hanging on to Pa Pa in this photo. Trying to see, but staying a safe distance away at the same time. Natalie was brave and gave it a go!
Julia trying it to!
Wow, what a busy couple of days and next week isn't go to slow down at all, it is Halloween!!
