KC Vacation

We were so excited for our KC trip that we decided to leave a whole day early! Right after Natalie's t-ball game we headed that way. Here are the girls right before we got to the hotel it was close to 11.

And here is where we stayed! Of course the girls acted like they owned it.

Of course they loved to ride the elevator and push the buttons!

And like all good kids, they really enjoyed running down the hall!

Natalie even figured out how to work the key.

Our living room and also Natalie's bedroom.

Jeff and I's room.

The kitchen area.

Julia's bed and bedroom.

Natalie and Julia really enjoyed the hotel pool. They both were so brave and even learned to swim a little on thier own with the help of their life jackets.

Our first tourist trap was Lego Land. After a little drama getting in, we ended up having a good time.

Here the girls are at the beginning learning how Lego's are made.

And here we are waiting in line for the ride. I love how done Julia looks!

Jeff and Natalie on the ride.

Hanging out in Lego Land.

Playing on a slide.

After Lego Land we headed over to Sea Life aquarium. The girls really enjoyed looking at all the sea life.

They had this small aquarium where you could actually pick up some creatures. The girls loved it!

Natalie holding a starfish.

On Saturday we took the girls to the KC Zoo. We had such a great time!!

The river otters were really cute!

Because we are zoo members in Wichita, we got into the zoo for a great price! So, we decided to purchase the all you could ride tickets and thank heavens we did! Julia LOVED the carousel. All she would say is, up, down, round and round!!

And here we are riding the train!

The girls petting a sheep.

Natalie wanted to ride the camel so we let her. Of course Julia wouldn't be left behind, so Mom had to join them!

After the camel rides we decided to go play in the new barn. It was really cute inside. Lots of things for the kids to do.

Next to the barn is a peek-a-boo tree. The girls and Jeff had a good time playing in it!

The girls found some deer to feed.

Jeff and the girls on the tram.

And now we are on the boat.

And yes we even road the sky ride!

Yea! Now we get to see the Sea Lion show!

They also had a Polar bear and he was such a ham. He would come right up to the glass and entertain the kids.

On Sunday we took the girls to Co Co Key water park. It was such a fun day and we were so glad that he George's could share it with us!

While we were there we rented a cabana for a place to hang out. It was great!

The girls had a great time playing in the water ALL day!

Julia and Natalie found out that they could spray Jeff with the fountains if they stood on them just right and they both thought it was so funny!

Of course we had to have a little lunch!

Julia's bad attempt at a cheese face.

Jeff with three of the girls.

We were headed to eat dinner at Adam and Danielle's, but Julia opted for a nap instead.

Playing with cousins!

On Monday Danielle and I took the girls to see Madagascar 3. It was really cute and they did great. It was fun too because we got to eat lunch in the the theater.

After the movie we took the girls to the mall and of course Julia spotted the carousel and we had to ride it!

Natalie got a new doll when we were at the mall. She named it Azera.

Monday night we met the George's for dinner at Fritz's.

All the kiddos got train hats.

You called your order in.

And then a train that travels along the top of the restaurant brings your dinner to you! Too cute.

Julia being camera shy.

Natalie help Danielle order her food.

The girls riding on the train before we left.

And this is what a worn out four year old looks like.

On Tuesday we decided it was time to head back to Wichita. Here the girls are enjoying one final snack at the hotel.

And we are loaded up and headed home.

One quick pit stop for lunch and we were on the road again!

We had a great vacation overall. Lots of fun things to see and do and it was great spending some time with family!!

Here are a couple random videos of Ms. Julia.
