Summer Fun!

Carol found the girls these super cute 4th of July outfits!

There is a new girl on the street! Ella, or Baby Ella, as the big girls call her is causing quite a fuss! Here is Natalie holding her telling me that she she needs a baby just like Ella. She even told me she would nurse her!

After bath one night I put Julia in Natalie's bed to keep her warm. She looked so cute and then she peed in the bed....sigh....

Natalie is playing t-ball this summer. This is what she decided she wanted to wear to her first game...love this girl!

Julia had fun at the game with her Mi Mi.

Here is her team lining up to say their oath!

Waiting for our turn to bat!

Natalie at bat!

Natalie on first!!

Running to daddy on second base.

Julia intensely watching the game.

Yep Natalie, home is that way!

This way?

Made it to home base!

She was so excited!!!

We have attempted to have a container garden this year and finally we got some produce!!! Natalie wouldn't eat them so Julia ate them both.

Wow, what a couple weeks!

We have been so busy these last couple of weeks!!

Natalie has such gorgeous hair, but it does get a little warm in the summer. So, I have been trying to come up with some interesting things to do with her hair. Here she is sporing a "hair" bow.

They opened up a new Cabella's in town, so Jeff and I took the kids to check it out!

Natalie found a Tinker Bell fishing pole and it even plays music when you are reeling it.

Julia found her first gun.

Natalie and were having a hard day, so hard I was ready to give her to the lowest bidder. Anyway, she fell asleep at nap time and I send this photo to Jeff, his reply, "Walk away, it is a trap!!" Man they are sweet when they are asleep.

Julia is in love with planes. I asked Joe if we could go to Cessna and see some and we got a sneak peek the other night. Now Julia says, "Plane, Broke, Joe."

Before Natalie's last day of school they had a visit from the firefighters. Jeff went with her and while they were standing in line he got a photo of her by the fire engine. Then he noticed that she wasn't checking out the engine, but doing her hair in the stainless steel....that's my girl!

Fixing her hair in the stainless steel.

Spraying the water was her favorite part!

Natalie had another allergic reaction to something the other night. I ended up taking her to the ER so they could watch her. Jeff was already in Las Vegas, it always sucks to have your kid at the ER, but especially when your spouse is gone! Here she is watching the IPad.

And here she is after her neck x-ray, where she said, "The picture didn't help, my throat still hurts."

And here Natalie and Julia are at her last day of school party. Julia was so excited that she was invited.

Natalie's preschool class. None of the kids wanted to do this photo!

The teacher had them do one last performance.

Humpty Dumpty

Natalie was never a big fan of the owls in her room, so we decided to make it princess and pink! She loves it!

Dad came into town to help me with the kids while Jeff was gone and while he was here we were going to take some photos. We wanted to be in western wear, so we headed off for some new boots. Unknowingly, Dad picked out some pink ones for Natalie that actually light up. She loves them. Poor Julia had to get some little boy ones as her feet are so chunky!!!

I like to call this photo, I got up on the wrong side of the bed Tuesday.

Of course we had to spend some time outdoors. Dad taught Julia had to drive the car in a circle since she can't turn yet!

Natalie does such a good job on her bike!

You can't spend a night riding bikes and cars without a Popsicle!

While Dad was here Nonie and Linda came into town and stayed the night with us. Dad and I decided to make a special dinner for them. Here is our no bake strawberry icebox cake. It was YUMMY!

Linda hanging out with the girls.

Nonie and the girls. Natalie loved playing with Nonie. She also thought it was great that Nonie slept in her bed under her new princess canopy.

Just the kiddos hanging out.

My beautiful cousin, Chelsey, also graduated from high school this month!

Dad got the girls their first water guns. They thought they were great and had a lot of fun learning to use them. here is Julia soaking the back of Chloe.

And here are all the girls shooting Pa Pa James' tires!

Julia then discovered that shooting yourself is a great way to cool off.

When we got in Natalie was in bed for a little while and came out telling us that there wasn't any way she could go to sleep, she was TOOOO hungry. I told her she could have a pouch and I sent her back to bed. This is how I found her....

Julia's newest thing is growling. It is so sweet and delicate.

And here are the professional photos that we had taken. I think they turned out pretty good!

Of course while dad was here we had to visit the zoo. Dad's job was to keep Julia away from all the PB & J sandwiches as it was also last day of school field trip time!

I also got a fantastic new car when Dad was in town. I can't tell you how much I love it!

The night before Dad left we hung out in the back with the girls. They are so silly.

The same day that Dad left, Jeff came home. It was fun to surprise him with the new car!

We went to a neighborhood picnic on Saturday. We all had a great time. Here is Julia saying cheese!!

And here she is swinging. I know it is a terrible video, but she was kicking her legs and acting all crazy, it was too funny.

On Monday, Jeff and I took the girls to the opening of the Butterfly house at a local garden. They had a show for the kids and it was really neat. It was a husband a wife. The wife made all these crazy costumes from weaving baskets and the husband did really fun things with balloons!

Natalie and Jeff at the show.

Sweet Julia.

Mesmerized....

In the butterfly house.

With the butterfly dancers.

Waiting for Snow Cones.

Going into the Children's Garden to play! We had taken the girls to the garden to play last year. It is amazing how fast they grow. To see that visit, click here.
