Odds and Ends

Natalie's actual birthday was a rough day. Both Julia and I were really sick, so Natalie ended up staying all night at Mi Mi's. I think she thought she won the lottery!!

I did get some time with her in the morning and she opened up a gift from Marty. This is the PJ's that she just loves, but I think her favorite is the backpack that looks like a tu-tu. It has replaced all her other backpacks.

Carrie and Joe made these ghosts to put on their trees and Carrie got this cute shot of Julia checking them out!

Natalie got a sleeping bag from Emily and she loves it. I found her just laying in it the other day. Too cute.

Julia is always trying to imitate Natalie. Currently Natalie has a fascination with bags and purses. So, Julia likes to carry them too, although her shoulders aren't big enough and she thinks she needs to hold up her arm to keep them from sliding off! It is hilarious.

Ethan's first birthday was the end of October and it was sports themed. So, in true form, Carrie and I dressed our kids up to match the theme! They were the cutest cheerleaders ever!

My temperamental cheerleader.

And here we are at the party with the birthday boy's sister. The three best friends.

When we went to the pumpkin patch at the beginning of October, we had professional photos taken. I finally got them and thought they turned out so cute!

Natalie's Fourth Friends/Family Birthday Party

Natalie's 4th birthday party was something else. She wanted to do candy, because she loves candy. I thought it was a cute idea, so we ran with it! We were blessed with a beautiful day and lots of friends and family that could attend!

These are the lolly pops that lined the walk.

So, I determined the day to be a success when we were sitting at dinner and Natalie turned grey and said her stomach hurt. She then threw up. Yea!  That's when you know it was a party! Poor birthday girl!

Family Photos

On October 16th, the day after Natalie's party we had family photos taken in Darryl's backyard. I thought they turned out just great! Natalie's 4 and Julia is 18 months.

The reason that we got together to take photos was because a majority of the first cousins were going to be in town.

And here are just the cousins.
