Way Great Play Date, with You!

Today Abbie and Ethan came over for a little play date. Natalie and Abbie had a grand time reading, doing a dots puzzle and playing tag. Those girls are just a bundle of energy. Julia had a great time pestering Ethan. He tried out the jumperoo and gave it a thumbs up. I think his Daddy will be in the attic soon finding his. All in all it was a good time!


This sums it up, at least this is what I hope Natalie and Julia are doing right at this very moment. (A special note to my friends on the SIDS board, we did not let Ethan sleep like this, we just laid him there to put jackets on and I snapped this photo. :))

Sharing

Natalie still has a hard time sharing, so this is a rare photo of her sharing a snack with her sister.

Pa Pa Don

Pa Pa Don and Suzanne came over for dinner on Sunday. The girls played and played and played. I think you can see from the photos how much fun they had. Mi Mi had brought over these flower and ribbon halo's for the girls. They really love them.

Sunday Breakfast

I think since I have lost my Grandparents, I have been a little more aware of how fast time goes and how lucky I am to have the family that I have. So below are two photos, nothing special, just us eating breakfast. The second one is Natalie with one eye open, she just wanted a photo of it.

Princess Natalie

Natalie is really into dressing up. She loves to be a princess. Below is the way she came home from Mi Mi's. She totally cracks me up. Notice the shoes.

Natalie's Room

I went into Natalie's room the other day and sighed. I can't beleive how messy it is most the time. I try not to harp on her about it, because it is her space. Before I started to get mad and pick things up, I looked around and imagined her in there. I started smiling and even tearing up a little bit. What a little bit of magic there is in a little girls room. They have the biggest imagination and so much fun. I shut the door and left it just like it was.

Snack Time

Julia is such a big eater! Last night I gave her tilapia and she ate all of it. She loves to have her very own bowls of snacks, but she is still learning to leave the snacks in the bowl instead of dumping them out.

Nap Time

Instead of napping today, Julia decided to throw all of her paci's on the floor and pull the basket of shoes off her bookcase. She is something else.

I can't believe how fast Julia is growing up. Here she is figuring out her toy. Man, she is one smart cookie! I love when she is banging the ball with her hand!

As you have seen in some prior photos, Julia is in love with her Boppy. Here she is showing her Boppy some love!

Now that Julia has mastered pulling up, she can dance now too. She loves to dance and sing and s does Natalie. Maybe they will be the singing sisters or something!



And while I was trying to get her dancing I actually got her standing alone. She is doing it more and more now, but really doesn't act like she wants to walk at all! When I try walking with her she just wants to sit down. Oh well, soon enough. I am wondering if she will be walking by her first birthday? Natalie was walking at about 10.5 months.



And here she is walking behind her walker. She loves to try to do it, but sometimes it goes just a little too fast!
