Catching Up!

Finally! Some time to catch up with some photos and stories. So, I think these are out of order, but at least I got them grouped together!

This is Jeff and I outside the doctors office after we found out we were having a healthy little girl! Can you tell we were excited? :)

Now that we know it is a girl we have been working on the nursery. First we had to pick out a design, get the room ready, paint and them decorate! Natalie has been such a big help through the entire process!

This is the room painted and the quilt pattern that we picked out. I just love it! The pink color that we picked out was called "Bubble Bath" and it is so calm and beautiful on the wall.

The valance came with the bedding set and Mom made the drape underneath it. I think it looks great!

I ordered some Christmas presents and Natalie and Jeff thought it would be so much fun to play in the box! It was a lot more fun to play in than to clean up...

Natalie got a bad diaper rash and we were cleaning her in the sink to clear it up and she still loves to take baths in the sink. She thinks she is such big stuff!

Yea! Time to drag out the Christmas decorations! Natalie was ready and enjoyed helping. She liked handy Jeff and I the ornaments for the tree, we each had about six in our hands as we were decorating. We only broke three in the process, I thought that was pretty good!

Jeff just loves putting up the outside lights! He did such a good job!

The penguins are a new addition this year. They are from my Mom to Natalie because she is in love with the movie Happy Feet and just loves penguins.

After a big day of decorating, we decided to get pizza, Natalie, of course, had to do it her way!

I finally got my new double stroller and I am so excited!! I took Abbie and Natalie for an inaugural ride, and was pleased with the performance of it! Natalie really did like it, she was just really hungry in this photo.

Thanksgiving was hectic as usual, but here are the mandatory family photos.

Mom bought Natalie an Elmo hat and she thinks it is too funny.

One night we went to Borders and I told the girls I would give them a sucker if they were good, I didn't know that they only sold HUGE suckers!!

Natalie stayed with Abbie the other night and I love this photo of them riding on the scooter together!

Jeff's 30th birthday was a lot of fun! He started with gifts from Natalie and I and then we went to eat with some friends! After dinner we came back to the house for cake with the kids and Mom had decorated the table, it was too nice.

For Jeff and Darryl's birthday we went to brunch at Granite City. Natalie had an adorable hat to wear with her outfit, but she wouldn't keep it on. I did get her photo in it.

Jeff and I bought Natalie an almost life size penguin and she loves it. She has seen Happy Feet so many times that she knows the "baby" sits between the daddy's legs. It is so cute!

Today we went to a party at Darryl's office. It was a lot of fun, but Natalie wasn't going anywhere near Santa. After the party she checked out his office. Emily and Carrie went with us and I think the girls had a great time! They wore us out...

Way Behind...

I know I am way behind in posting photos to the blog, but I did just finish her second year photo book and wanted to share it! We are doing well, we have just been so busy around here and when the day winds down everyone is so tired!

Fall is here!

The weather has been cooler and I have felt better so we have been out and about! Last week we went with Emily and Abbie to the Zoo. Natalie loves holding Abbie's hand. I would have to say that Emily and Abbie are her best friends, she asks about them and talks about them all the time. It is really cute and funny.

Natalie loves to mimic everything we do and really loves it when she gets to help. One of her favorite things to help with is the vacuuming. She does a great job and does it with such enthusiasm!

Mom stopped by the other day and Natalie and I were making dinner and I got this great shot of the two of them. Again, Natalie helping out!

Carrie bought Emily an inflatable pool and filled it with balls, and got Natalie one too. It was so nice of her and the girls just love them. Natalie's is a turtle and Emmie's is a giraffe. This evening Natalie insisted that Carrie and Emmie join her in the pit.

With all the crud that is already going around, our family is addicted to hand sanitizer. Natalie of course loves to use it. She got the bottle off of Jeff's dresser and was playing with it in the bed.

I love this photo of Natalie, she is laughing and talking at the same time...I see this look a lot.

This Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch her in town. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Here we are measuring Natalie up!

This was just a great spot for a photo. Pictured are Carrie, Natalie, Emily, Abbie, Me and Emily.

I love these cut out things. Here is Abbie, Natalie and Me.

There were these two slides that you rode a sled down and through the small hill. I thought it looked like a great time, but Jeff didn't think it would be a good idea for me to go. So, Jeff took Natalie down and she had a great time. She tried to tell us that she wanted to try it by herself...maybe next year...

After the "sledding" the kids got to climb up hay bales, crawl across them and slide down a slide. They all thought it was great fun.

So after the slide we took the kids jumping on the pumpkin pillow. Natalie had a ton of fun, so we had to go back later and do it some more!

Of course we had to get in a little swinging...this was the first time that Natalie had ever been on this kind of swing.

Finally we made our way to the pumpkin patch. We took a hay ride out there and Natalie was sitting on my lap. She started to squirm so I stood her up next to me. I was thinking about that time that the pumpkins smelled terrible! Oh well, I smell everything these days!! But then I noticed that Natalie and I both had wet pants, and for some reason my hand was damp. Oh no!! Number 2 had leaked!! What do you do on a hay rack ride? Let it ride!

Jeff and Natalie found the perfect pumpkin. This is Jeff teaching her that the stems are sharp.

Here everyone is out in the patch. Emily and Abbie, Eric, Carrie and Joe and Emily.

So, when I thought it couldn't get worse, Natalie lost her balance in the patch and fell right on to a rotting pumpkin. Mmmm.....it was funny when she landed on it it just deflated more and made this hilarious sound. Jeff said that she now smelled like rotting poo. Gross.

The girls in the patch. Emily, Abbie and Natalie.

Natalie and Jeff with their pumpkins. They do look good on our front porch.

After the picking Jeff paid for them and Natalie and I headed straight for the car to deal with rotting poo! All in all it was a great day, but I am ready to call it a night!

Puppy Love!

We just love our pup!
